I'm Kat, I am a born and bred desert rat hailing originally from Palm Springs CA and lived in multiple, much more temperate parts of that state for many years. Then I lived in Hawaii due to a marriage...it was nice, but, and hate to spoil this for you...Oahu is LA on an island and if you don't love beaches Hawaii is not your dream place to live. Still, I met some good people and developed a mild addiction it mac salad...if you know, you know.
The marriage took me to Phoenix AZ, he left, I stayed because I had an apartment lease...and then I stayed...and stayed...mainly because moving is expensive and my friends are here.
During the period of staying...I went through a decade long depression, wrote novels, did some parkour, became a photographer, messed with 3d lighting in animation and 3d sculpting, got a new housemate, planted their yard and now have a thriving garden and now I do art too.
The day job is massage therapist because being in a dark room with soothing music is the only way to survive the summers here.
I am a lifetime creative, starting with music as a kid and now finally call myself an artist instead of just "creative adjacent". My art is how I hope to get money to actually retire at some point (laughs in starving artist but you never know, things happen)
I despise AI and if you steal my stuff I will curse your bloodline for 5 generations and destroy you.
